Partnership students on courses franchised by UWL can borrow books if they are able to visit the library in person to borrow and return items.  Loan allowances are 10 for undergraduates and 12 for postgraduates

To borrow you will need a UWL ID card,   to obtain this you will need to visit UWL.

  • Bring your student ID from the institution you are studying at
  • Explain to the Security Desk that you are visiting the library to obtain a  library card and ask them to direct you to the School administrators office
  • Ask the School administrators office for your UWL registration number
  • Go to  Students Services (ID cards)  equipped with your number and ask them to make up a card for you.

If you are unable to get to UWL during the opening hours of these services (Term-time: 9 to 5), you can ring the School Administrators Helpdesk on  0208 231 3812  or  0208 231 2139. It is also possible to email a picture to ID card services so that they can create a card before you arrive.  For more details, contact them on 0208 231 2070

You will need to bring identifying documentation with you when  you visit UWL for the first time. Please note that the start of the Autumn term is very busy and there may be delays at this time of year.
