Databases are collections of information which provide access to published information sources. The library subscribes to many different kinds of databases covering a wide range of subjects. There are databases that just index and abstract journals, while others include full-text journals. Some are based on publishers’ lists of titles while others are aggregator databases that collect full-text articles from a variety of sources such as journals, magazines, and newspapers. All the databases the library subscribes to are listed on UWL Library web page under Databases A- Z.
